As the cornerstone of Chopra Insurance, Ravi brings with him over 40 years of insurance experience. He began as an underwriter for various insurance companies in the Los Angeles area. In 1985 he transitioned into the surplus line industry. Since then, Ravi has established himself as an expert in the property casualty wholesale brokerage field. By cultivating lasting relationships with insurance companies and his producers, he embodies our brokerage’s commitment to results and excellence in service.
With over 30 years of experience in wholesale brokerage, Michelle has been a part of Chopra Insurance since its inception. While she boasts a broad range of expertise, her classes of focus are construction, habitational, and products. Through her extensive knowledge and experience, Michelle brings unyielding professionalism to all of her clients.
Taly brings over 23 years of industry experience to the table. Entering the industry while studying at the University of California Northridge, she began as a file clerk and soon after became an underwriting supervisor. With an unrelenting drive to succeed, it wasn’t long before she was successfully managing a multi-million dollar book at one of the largest brokerages. In 2015, Taly decided to bring her impressive skill set to Chopra Insurance. Since then she has succeeded in developing an extensive book, with a focus on construction, property, and casualty.
John Sorrell has more than 30 years experience in property/liability risk management and insurance. He has held both senior management and operational roles in underwriting, claims management, captive formation, risk loss and control management, and engineering. Leveraging his early academic training and claims managing experience, John excels in his new duties in production, underwriting, loss control, and account management.
Anita is an invaluable member of the Chopra Insurance team. She began her career in the mortgage industry in underwriting, risk assessment, and income/credit analysis. After which, she successfully founded and operated her own business for over 15 years. Anita now brings her extensive management and business experience to ensure our office runs smoothly and that all clients are satisfied.
